well i spent my whole thursday in Em room. I had been having bad side pains in my right side. thought it might be my kidneys. Well got up thursday with a fever. Hubby took tyler to my aunts and went on to work. Well bout 6:30am it felt like something popped inside on my right side and it got all warm and it was a pain i had never felt before. Well hubby came straight home, thought it was my appendix. Well we got there and they sent us back. They took my blood and said it didnt show anything. Made me pee in cup, said they didnt see anything. They made me drink lots of water and sent me for ultrasound. Now i was already hurting and her pressing on my stomach on the right did not help. Well they said it looked like there was something on my right side but couldnt get clear picture. Well they sent me for cat-scan. We waited for those results. Well they came in and said i had a "Ruptured Ovarian Cyst". Said there was nothing they could do. Gave me some pain meds and told me to get appt with my obgyn. Well got home and bout 2 hours later, Em doctor calls me back. They said something else showed up on cat-scan results. He wasnt sure what it was.(i was like great). I am still in lot of pain today and my doc appt isnt until 3pm. The pain meds have not helped at all. I am scared he might want to take that ovarie out since i have had problems with it before.

Did the emer doc want you to come back today? Perhaps to take a higher level scan? Maybe they should have had a specialist look at your scans. The experience that I have had with emergency room drs is that they are quaks and have NO CLUE what they are doing! Hopefully your app with your obgyn goes well today. Try to take it easy.. maybe a bath to help with the pain?
