I've been scanning pictures my husband has, they are of his son from his first marriage. Well in some of the pictures it has his son(blake) and hubbys grandparents. It started to make me sad because my son will never know his great grandparents. He has one great grandfarther left, but he lives in tn and doesnt really care if he sees him or not. I wish so much that my grandmother was around, she would have loved him to death. Plus i started to think bout my sis who passed away 7 yrs ago, she would have really loved him too....times seems to be flying by, tyler will be 8 months next thursday....

I feel the same way that you do ... the grandparents want hardly anything to do with my kids either.

You know I have a grandma and grandpa that hardly ever saw us but LOVED to spend time with my cousins but I have some older people in my Church Family that have been more like grandparents than them. My mom's mom and sisters are wonderful to me and my siblings along with our children. He is loved by more people than you THINK!!!
