Hi! My little Emma-Lynn is 6 months, 2 weeks now! Time goes by fast doesn't it! I'm also really worried about the swine flu and I get so angry when someone touches her hands or face, so now I always carry baby wipes with me and a hand sanitizer the one that you don't need water to wash your hands and constantly clean her hands and face even if it's a relative who touches her, I don't care what they think of me afterall she is my daughter and if I don't take care of her no one will. Good luck!

Dont be embarrassed to tell people that you dont want them to touch your baby, you have to stand up even though it can be hard or people might think you are being rude, but with all the things that are going around its safer for you and baby. Also you can buy some alcohol free hand sanitizer in a gel or spray and you can put some on babys hands if someone touches them. You can also put some on your hands and then rub your hands against babys hands. I always have some in my diaper bag because you just never know. You also have to make sure your hands are clean when out and about because you may open a door at the mall or what ever and then touch babys hands or face. It can be really hard to keep everything from baby. If you are breast feeding then baby is also getting antibodies from you as well which will help babys immune system.
