I coloured my hair with my last pregnancy and this one as well. Dont worry its perfectly fine to do, the hair colour is not like it used to be. There are hardly any fumes and harsh chemicals now. Your baby will be fine.

Don't be afraid!! I have been coloring my hair every 6 weeks since week 13. As long as you don't do a full color, and stick to highlights, its ok!

I did colour my hair at 12 weeks and will be doing it again next Saturday. Today if you ask your hairdresser they should have amonia free products which is what my hairdreser used. I even asked my gynae and she said to go ahead. It is not true, old myth.

1. I'm certain you are not ugly. 2. do it - just don't stick your head in a bucket-o-bleach :D I agree with aussiemom that you need to feel beautiful while preggers.

I say go for it, BUT nothing with ammonia. If you just get some nice foils then it doesnt actually sit on your scalp for too long. They only say it as a precaution in case too much of the chemicals go int your system. i wouldnt worry about it too much but make sure your hair dresser knows you are preggo :) You have to feel beautiful when you are pregs
