| 18-1-2010 - 40 weeks and 3 days pregnant |  My mood while writing this blog:good |
I had my appointment today. My blood pressure was good, but i gained 7 pounds....7 POUNDS in 1 week :(((( what the hell...i feel like i have swelled up a bit though. And I was not dialated :( i really was hoping to be dialated at least 1 cm...well was hoping for 3 cm...but i don't know why there is no progress...she told me the cervix was a bit thinned, but that was it. So I told her I want to schedule and induction on friday. I asked if that was ok, and she told me it was up to me. The ultrasound and the NST were all fine, plus on my 20 weeks ultrasound it said that i was about right on my due date, so I don't think it would be that bad to get induced when i am 41 weeks. However she told me that they want me to come on thursday instead of friday because there are not alot of nurses on friday. Also I have to call one hour early because they might not have any beds available. She also told me that if I do not progress in 24 hours they could sand me home and tell me to come another time (if everything is good with the baby). So thursday evening is the day, if I don't give birth earlier :). Looking forward to that date.

Oh wow I know you are super excited! I'm sure the 7 pounds is just water weight. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that you go into labor naturally without induction because induction sucks but whatever it takes, right! lol - I cant wait to hear your birth story!
