| 26-6-2008 - A New Day (17w5d) | My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
So today is the start of something new in this pregnancy. My last pregnancy ended at 17w4d. Not only is today a new day, but I haven't bled in a week. I am hopeful.
This pregnancy has helped my husband and I be closer and more patient. We love each other as much as (or maybe more than) we did on our wedding day. We are still sickening sweet with each other. It's amazing how banning sex can lead a strong couple CLOSER together.
That said, we took a short test-run last night. It was blissful, but I couldn't get past the idea that the act was going to have the same result as a plunger and cause all this blood to come pouring out. We stopped about 5 min into it and changed it up. But those 5 minutes were beautiful (if not illegal :P).
I woke up this morning expecting blood and found none. We have our level II ultrasound a week from this Monday and I can't WAIT to hear that the placenta has migrated and we can resume regular activities (even though it could mean a shift back to what we were, which was not bad, just ordinary). Even if that doesn't happen, I am TOTALLY excited to find out the sex and hear that our baby's normal. She (I think it's a girl) better be healthy. I pray every day for this little one.
