10-7-2008 - AF after 81 days

Well I finally got AF after 81 days. I think that's my longest cycle yet. It probably would have been longer if they hadn't given me Prometirum to get it started. I go in for bloodwork on Saturday (I didn't think they were open Saturdays, but now I don't have to miss work for it.) I have an ultrsound and HSG on Wednesday so that will be interesting. After that I start the birth control. And in one month I will meet with the doctor and figure out what's wrong (or what's right) with me. This will be a looooong wait for me. I hate waiting. It could be worse I guess. I could have to wait 2 months like I did just to get into fertility the first time. Until then, I just sit and wait. Hope everyone else is having better luck!

Well, I'm glad that AF has come for you. This whole TTC process is nothing but a waiting game and it sucks, but I hope that you are on the right path now. I had an HSG and it wasn't too bad, just some cramping during the test, but once it was over, I didn't have any cramping at all. Good luck, my Dr told me that sometimes there's mucus blocking your tubes and that the dye flushes it out and that many people experience increased fertility for 1-3 months after the test. When I was talking to them on the phone right before I was to have mine done, the nurse said that they just had a patient come in who just found out that she was pregnant and she'd had the HSG done the month before!! It didn't work that way for me, but hopefully it will for you! Good luck and keep me posted. ~Tonya
