05-5-2009 - 13 weeks

My mood while writing this blog:
excited!!!

so, I had my doctor’s appointment yesterday and we got to hear our baby’s heartbeat again. I love hearing that sound. I could listen to it all day! I know that m/s dies down around this time and I haven’t been feeling sick at all. but because of my m/c history I was kinda worried. but after hearing the baby, I am in shock. I’m 13 weeks. we made it!! after my hubby and I left the doctor’s office, he said to me, we’re going to have a baby. this is really happening. so after we went out and looked at maternity clothes and bras (the knockers are huge!!! lol) and little baby clothes. so hard to resist! I can’t wait to find out the sex so I can look for a going home outfit. I am just so happy and can’t believe everything is okay. I feel great and I am looking forward to getting a big tummy now. at my appointment I was weighed and I gained 2 pounds. I know it’s not much but I gotta get used to this weight gaining thing. I think I’m right on track though so I’m happy with the amount I gained. maybe it’s all boob and baby weight??? lol I dunno well thank you for reading my long blog ttyl!!

Congrats on the heartbeat!! I had my US yesterday at 13 weeks 2 days and the tech was sure it was girl in there! I asked her what percentage she would give for that and she said she would be very shocked if it were a boy... just something to think about! We are still waiting til our June US before we buy and decorate. :)

Oh thats awesome news!!...i don't even know you...but i feel so happy for you....i am really hoping i have the same great news as you when i go for my scan on tuesday. I bet you will just relax now and enjoy the pregnancy...because although it seems to go really slow at times...before you know it you will have your baby in your arms and will find it hard to remember what it was even like to be pregnant. Great news guys, im really excited for the both of you.

yeah im feeling the same, worrying now because i aint really feeling sick anymore, but i keep getting like pulling short stabby type of pains down below now and then. Ive been and bought two little gorj outfits after my scan a kind of celebration buy and have put on 4lb in total and hav gone in2 size 14s just hope its easy to lose once we have had our babies eh anyway im glad things are going good for you xx

We are in the same boat lol i know how you feel to know that everything is ok with you baby, I can't wait to go shopping im just trying to be patient til we find out the gender then im going on a baby shopping spree!!!lol
