02-6-2009 - weird drama kinda

My mood while writing this blog: i dunno...

okay… so I was gonna write a blog about this before but never did. anyways, my hubby’s stepbrother, Ryan, and my hairdresser, Jessie, met at our wedding (October 18, 2008) so about, 7 ½ months ago. anyways, they totally fell head over heals for each other, dated about 2 months, moved in together and got each other’s names tattooed. kinda fast, but none of my business you know… well Ryan, smokes weed and he drinks and so does Jessie. now, I’m not judging them but sometimes it would get way out of hand. so, when steve and I found out we were pregnant he pulled his brother aside out of love and told Ryan that we wouldn’t feel comfortable with out baby around that stuff. Steve and I don’t smoke or drink and we don’t want our kids around that. We’re the parents, we are the ones who make those decisions. Well, a couple weeks later, we were at my in-laws house and Jessie and Ryan were there, and she was totally ignoring me and Steve. rude… and I didn’t understand why. well, about a month goes by and she texts me saying that they were mad because we called them alcoholics. we NEVER said that at all. anyways, so I tried explaining to her that we were looking out for our baby. but she just didn’t get it. well, she still wont talk to me but Ryan is ok and totally understands were steve and I are coming from. anyways, last night I got a text from Jessie saying omg we’re engaged and it had a picture of her engagement ring. well, I’m not gonna sink to her level and ignore her. so I text her back saying congratulations and that the ring was gorgeous. she never replied which is fine and this morning Steve called his mom to ask her about the engagement. well, he called and said, so did you hear the news? and his mom said ya she knew, steve said ya Jessie sent Andy (me) a picture last night. and Debbie (Steve’s mom) says, they had an ultrasound already??? Steve was like, what??! well, Debbie let the cat out of the bag and it turns out that Jessie is about 6-7 weeks pregnant. Now, I’m not surprised but now I’m bummed because Jessie and I were pretty close and now she wont talk to me. and now that she’s pregnant too, it should bring us closer together. I wanna talk to her but it’s gonna be kinda awkward. I dunno, what do you ladies think??? (sorry this blog is SSSOOO long)
