My mood while writing this blog: anxious lol |
okay, so i may sound crazy to some women, but my son is 7 months old, nursing and i am wanting to ttc. here is my info... can i get your opinions??
My son sleeps through the night (8:30pm-7am) and has been sleeping thru the night for a few months now so, my AF returned soon. I've only had 2 AF and they are not regular yet.
AF- March 18-23 (my first AF since my son was born in October 2009)
April 30-May 4
hubby and i BD on May 12, 16 and 21
so do you think it is possible for me to conceive yet?? or no because my period is not regular yet? i am driving myself nuts with testing too soon and constantly researching it. am i crazy? haha

Wednesday, 26 May It very well could be possible. And no I do not think you are crazy for TTC already :) I have 2 boys 15 months apart and while they weren't planned that close, I have never regreted it :) I do want to give you a warning though, since you are breastfeeding still. I got preggo when my 1st LO was just 6 months old and by the time he was 9 months old, my milk was gone! I mean I went from EBF him to having ZERO milk in just 3 months :( I know some women can keep nursing throughout pregnancy, but for me it just didn't work. So we had to give him formula from 9-12 months. My second LO is now 7 months old (and still nursing a lot!) and I still have no period, so even if we wanted to I don't think we could get pregnant as soon this time! utopianite -
Monday, 24 May Of course it's possible to get pregnant... It's just next to impossible to know when you're going to ovulate. :-) My cycles started back at 3 months pp this time (even with EBF), and I got pregnant when she was 6.5 months. My cycles were really really erratic, and the only reason I knew I was pregnant was because my milk started to dry up. So if you were planning on continuing to nurse your baby, just know that you might have issues with it once you do conceive. :-) mommy-ofa-boy -
Monday, 24 May Omg i just spoke about this yesterday! From what ive heard (not sure how true) but beings your irregular it will be harder to know when your ovulating (i say try more often then not) :) my son is 8month and i have only gotten AF? once in april (14) but yet haven't been preventing pegnancy but now i am kinda hoping i am positive i wont test for another week or two, but a girl can always hope :) I am really not sure because we came upon a article that stated its pretty hard to get pregers if nursing and maybe to try substituting a few meals so your body can signal off IDK good luck!!
