My mood while writing this blog: Frustrated |
Okay before we started block feeding we had 8 dirty diapers a day but none of them really came through her diaper. Now that we have worked out some of her issues she has about 4 dirty diapers a day, 1 of them usually ends up, up her back and out the sides. I don't know how to prevent this. It could just be her positioning when doing the deed like exersaucer, bumbo or carseat lol but none the less we have at least one of those a day and it is getting frustrating. Its ruining her clothes and sometimes it happens in the car and then i have to find somewhere to get her naked and clean her up and its freezing out. Anyway I guess i'm asking if anyone has/had this issue who can help. She is in size 2 and they are big on her so I don't think going to size 3 is going to make a difference if anything it would give it more space to come flying out lol :) thanks for your help

Monday, 1 Dec i can't offer any suggestions either. Chathum has blowouts up the back with almost every dirty diaper. I am going to ask his doctor when we go on Dec. 15th to see if he has any insight! We use Baby OxyClean to get the stains out on his clothes. Works great! sexymama021 -
Monday, 24 Nov Huggies diapers worked the best for blowouts for me. If she still gets it all over her clothes, try the blue dawn foaming dish soap. Works everytime! No stains for me! :) ggfirsttime -
Monday, 24 Nov Make sure the diaper lining is outside..other than that I am not aware of anything that would help. You're not alone on this! ihave6kids -

Monday, 24 Nov I never have that problem.. my son is formula fed tho, not sure if that makes a difference. He has one poo diaper a day, after his morning bottle, and the rest is pee. I guess im lucky... when he does poo tho its really smelly and i want to gag lol. I use pampers diapers, they seem to work well for me... what kind are you using? Heather-08-01 -
Monday, 24 Nov Yup, hate the blowouts! The best thing for the stains is dreft stain remover spray; works like a charm, just follow the directions on the bottle. I wish I had a magic answer for stopping the blowouts, but we have about 1/day too, and it's not like there's even that much sometimes, it just seems like the aim is off to the side or something (or straight up the back!). babymoma08 -
Monday, 24 Nov We r also having the same problem lol,I noticed when the lining on the elastic is outside the diaper it helps to protect leak from the side,so when u r changing her diaper make sure that lining is out side .I have no idea how to protect the blow out form up their back.
