26-9-2009 - Soo Exhausted!!

Ok so we celebrated my toddlers 3rd Bday today!Let me start off asking why men have no fricken clue? All in all everything went fine but I am a mess now and just want to cry for like 10 hrs!My husband has this friend......nice guy but is clueless when it comes to families and kids.....yet he has 3 of his own!He never spends time with his own family he has a flippen beer in his hand 24 hrs a day!I think his wife is a bit of an idiot for putting up with his shit but hell apparently I have to deal with it too!They come to the Bday party(not the first time they have been over)and his kids take everything from my kid(all his new stuff) they tattle all the time,they walk around with food and drinks.....I like for mine to stay in the kitcen or be outside with it!Their baby throws tantrums etc! Now dont get me wrong my kids aren't perfect infact have done all these things as well but apparently instead of giving me a break Im the one who has to deal with every issue with kids the whole entire bleapin time!Im TIRED!Now to top it off I leave and go get pizzas and my dog who stays in our laundry room bites thier almost 2 yr old!My dog loves MY kids not others!I leave for 5 min and shit hits the fan!Im going to have to get rid of him and it breaks my heart cuz my 3 yr old loves him soo much but this is not the first time he has done this one of these days if its not our friend we could get sued so I know we need to do it!Anyway it just makes me feel bad for the kid but where were his mom and dad when this happened why is there baby going into my laundry room?I know his dad was sitting on my couch with my husband drinking a beer hoping someone is chaperoning his kid !So to top it off the wife leaves cuz she has a friend in town and leaves her 3 kids and hubby at my house!Yea thanks!I mean good for her to get out but make your husband leave with your kids so the pregnant lady or grandmas there do not have to babysit for you!So my husband and I get in a fight about all this and Im so emotioal and upset I cant think of what to say!I mean it wont come out!My husband thinks I was a bitch to everyone at the party tonite he said I was rude and Im crazy!Yea i know Im crazy but I cannot stand being made to feel like I have done something so incredibly wrong when all I have done is worked my ass off to make this a nice party and I could barely enjoy it because I feel so helpless! I know I would feel this same way even if I wasn't pregs but I know all my emotions are magnified times 10 beacause I am .....i do not want to be hateful to anyone and I know I did bite some heads off tonite but I wish my husband wouldn't invite more people than we can handle and he knows these particular kids irritate me!Ive babbled on long enough but I really had to vent considering it wouldn't come out earlier!

I am so sorry to hear that things did not go well. As for your husband he is torn between his family and friends which is a bad combination he should never take sides even though you are right which we are almost always. My husband used to do the same thing and still tries on certain occasions but it usally turns into a big fight. As for the friends wife I would talk to her and ask her how would she feel if you did that to her. At first she may be offended but after she thinks about it she will have a change of heart because after all she would not like it.I had to do this with my husband's friend wife and now we are good friends. Sometimes things need to be said that my cause a ripple but if you do nothing it will happen again.Good Luck and keep us posted

You're not crazy! I'd tell hubby to shove it up his ass...men only say that shit when they get embarrassed because you weren't acting like the perfect little hostess they think you should be! I would have been just as irritated and heartbroken and just overall bitchy if I'd had a day where two parents checked out of their responsibilities and expected you to step in, and the dog thing...I'd be beside myself! I hope you feel better and things get worked out with the hubby for sure, but you should tell him that you're definitely not down with having that particular family over anymore because it's too much for you to deal with.

Oh wow, hun I am sooooo sorry things went the way that they did. I agree most times men just don't have a clue, but man it seem like there was drama at every turn. As far as the dog, if they were in parts of the house where they were not supposed to be, I would not get rid of my dog. The door was closed for a reason. In fact, even if you are attending a party, that is not an instant vacation from tending to your own children. Well hope everything works out and your LO enjoyed the party. Anytime you wanna vent, we are here to listen. Try to get some rest now :-)

Oh no sorry all didnt go so well at the bday party! It sounds like a lot of stress you so didnt need. I am having trouble coping when my own 2 play up. Mostly my son his been on one all day because ive grounded him I dont know about you but my hormones are everywhere and im feeling kinda low at times. I hope all goes ok with the dog.x
