05-11-2009 - Miah is getting bigger :)

Hi everyone, it has been so long since I have been here and certainly have not updated my profile in a while. Miah is 14 and a half months old now... wow, where did the time go. All her hair that she was born with fell out and now, finally, the black mop is being replaced with beautiful blonde hair.

She started walking 2 weeks before her 1st birthday, and is running around now :) She says a number of words already and understands beautifully. her words are Dada (this was her first), Mama, Nana, out, there, ta... she counts, well, we say one and she says two. In her own baby way she also says Grandpa and Jakes (our dog).

Miah has 12 teeth already, including 4 molars... wow they came out a little early. It has been a hairy few months of teething but it all seems to have calmed down now.

She was in our bed for a while, about 6 months, and I thought it would be really hard to get her back into her own bed but it landed u being quite easy. She woke up early 2 nights and since sleeps through again. She seems to be more comfortable in her own bed... go figure. At least the teething is over for a little while.

She is thoroughly enjoying creche and has learnt so much. She is tough and leads the pack... lol, takes after her father who's nick name is "Basie" which means Boss. I hope that this will take her far in life.
