10-5-2009 - YA HOOOO!!!!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Relieved

First off...Happy Mother's Day all!!!

I thought that I would write an update on Mason after my long depressing one last week. We started him on cereal (6 tsp for a 4 oz bottle) last Tuesday. He had a good night, only woke up once Tuesday and Wednesday. Has had great days ever since AND he slept through the ENTIRE night (8-9 hours) both Thursday and Friday night!!! I'm so excited that we might, just might have this under control now!!! I feel like I have a completely different baby now...total turn around!!! I still don't like the fact that he's on cereal at 10 weeks, but I guess you have to do what you have to do. He's not eating as frequently or as much...because he's actually getting full. The Alimentum just wasn't enough by itself I guess. I am finding that I do not have to hold him constantly anymore, which in turn allows me do things around the house. He actually likes being by himself too...whether it's in his swing, bouncy, on his toy mat, or just having some tummy time. He also seems to be more smiley...YAY! We went on a long walk yesterday and he seemed to like it. He cooed and smiled the whole time, and of course slept a little bit.

Now, I can catch up on laundry and all the other house work that needs to be done. YIPPEE!!!!!!!
