We thought it was a girl. Even the US technician thought it was a girl just by looking at my stomach (she apparently hadn’t been wrong in 20 some years…LOL), but he surprised us!

How did you pick it?
I thought of the name Chasytie and my mom thought of the unique spelling.

Josh’s dad’s name was Richard Paul Mason and he was murdered when Josh was a little boy and we wanted to name our lil boy after him. His dad’s name was Richard Paul Mason (Josh took his mom’s last name). So we just played around with it until we came up with one that we both liked.
Was your baby named after anyone special?
Yes, her middle name is also my mom's middle name and my Great-Grandma's first name.

Chasytie means – Chaste, pure. Marie means- Bitter (yikes!)

Well, we weren't using anything to prevent, but we weren't trying either.

Me, Josh was at work and I couldn’t wait for him any longer. My SIL and BFF met me there. Josh came about an hour later.

Did you have any complications during your pregnancy or delivery?
None, other than she needed a little kick (pitosin – sp?) to come out…she obviously wasn’t ready

He threw me into early labor at 32 weeks, but thankfully we were able to stop it with meds (that I also had to continue taking daily until I hit 38 weeks)
Do you want boys or girls in the future?
‘IF’ we were to have any more, it doesn’t matter as long as the baby is healthy. Between us, we have 2 boys and 2 girls!
