So Anna has been totally awesome with potty training. The last four days she hasn't had an accident!! I really can't believe it!! And it all started so random, too. She was beginning to get a rash on her hiney so I let her be naked from the wait down... which I have done a million times before. But I decided to take the rug from the bathroom and put it on the living room floor with her little pink potty on it. I explained to her what it was and she knew and had seen it before. She was in her playroom, which is connected to the living room, and she peed a little bit. So I told her that she better go to the potty! She ran yelling "Pee Pee Pee Pee Pee PEEEEEEEE!" and got the rest of the pee in the potty!! So I took the little potty to the bathroom so she could wipe and help me flush the pee in the big potty and wash her hands, etc. And ever since then she hasn't had a single accident!! This morning she was watching cartoons in my bed and I told her that I trusted her to pee on the potty if she had to go. I was on the computer and guess what? She got up out of my bed and ran to the potty without getting a single drop on my bed! I am seriously dumbfounded that she caught on this quick.
Now... here is my little problem. She won't let me put pants on her. At all. Ever. If I try to, she just cries "Pee Pee!" and kicks and sobs. I bought some Pull Ups with Dora on them which she LOVES, but won't wear. I have to practically pin her down to put them on her. However, they have been better than getting diapers on her because if she even pees in the once she is uncomfortable and wants it off. She never did that with a diaper. So thats a plus. I just have to get her to figure out how to pull them down when she needs to pee. I tried Big Girl underwear and that just ended in failure because she takes them right off as soon as they go on. At least the Dora's she keeps on... even if shes unhappy with it.
Any and ALL advice on potty training would be so much appreciated! I'm a novice at this, but I think I'm doing good so far. I just don't know what steps I should be taking from here other than learning to go potty AND wear pants. Or at least the Dora's. I'll worry about getting poopy in the potty fairly soon... but I'm not positive how to approach it. I've told her that her poopy goes in the potty, too... but we haven't been in a situation where she has had to poop without having a diaper on. I also am not even going to begin to worry about getting to the potty overnight. Baby steps. :)

This is soo cute! And the little doll! I tried to put Jade on the potty a few weeks ago, just for the fun of it, i know she is probably too young still. Anyway, I placed the potty infront of the tv in the livingroom. I told her that her poopoo goes in the potty, she touched her bum and said bobo, i said yes, in the potty. I then turned around to grab my magazine from the kitchen top and when i looked down at Jade again she had made a big, smelly, poop right NEXT to the potty! I would have thought it was funny, but she managed to get some of the poop on my Dolce and Gabbana reading glasses that she took from the couch just before she made the poo! Kids are amazing and so darn funny, there was one time when Jade made a poo next to my suitcases in an open cupboard. I cleaned her up in a bath of water (she was without a daiper because i was going to bath her anyway!) but for some reason the stench just wouldn't go away even after i bathed her and put on a fresh set of clothes! So i checked her bum and her clothes again, nothing, just this horrific stench right under my nose and i couldn't understand where it was coming from. She fell asleep on my lap later and as i bend down to lay her down in her cot i saw it! Poop on her forehead,between her curls! Man, i didn't know what to do,wake her up to wash the poop off her face or let her sleep with it! I let it her be, but she back in the tub bottle and all the moment she opened her eyes! LOL.

These pics are so hilarious, i love the naked baby in the potty beside her! You are doing great with the potty training. My dd is 19 months and there are some times where she will sit on the potty, get off, run to the living room and pee on the carpet! I'm not to sure if she is quite ready yet! How old is your DD?
