So, I'm not really on this site a whole lot lately. I still come by and check in quite a bit. I just thought it would be nice if I gave everyone a small update. :)
I moved back to Illinois from Florida. I am so happy to be home... I love it here. Chicago is my favorite city and I love that I am a short train ride away. I love that I am back near my family and friends who are so close to my heart. I've missed them all so much.
Anna is wonderful. Although she is full blown in her terrible twos, I love every minute of life with her. She talks in full sentences all the time now, and it is great. We actually have conversations and talk to each other.
Brandon and I have been TTC is October. For those who know, it was a very long journey to even convince Brandon to have another baby. I was ready over a year ago, but he was not. At all. It was a very hard time because I felt so ready to be pregnant and have another child in our family. Our family just does not feel complete yet. So when Brandon finally said that he REALLY *WANTS* another baby, I was jumping up and down because I was so excited.
Anna was not planned. The fact that my pregnancy with her was not planned is not a secret that I keep from anyone. She is our surprise and we wouldn't have it any other way. I guess I figured that since we got pregnant with Anna so easily that it wouldn't take time for us to TTC #2. I was WRONG. We tried in October, no luck. Tried again in November... I charted my temps, ovulation days, etc. I REALLY thought we were pregnant this time. Still, no luck.
I am not handling it well at all. In fact, I'm distraught. I swear, I'm trying not to be dramatic about this. In person, I keep all of the disappointment to myself... mostly because NO ONE except some special IAP friends know that we are TTC right now. It is hard not having anyone to talk to in person about this. I just don't know what we are doing wrong...
So that is what is going on in a nutshell. I hope everyone is doing wonderful!!

The best thing to do when TTC is relax and understand your body. Your body will tell you when its time to get pregnant. Also you can get pregnant 8 days after your A/F so If you get your A/F keep trying even after it. It took us 3 months when TTC our thrid child. Our first I got pregnant on our wedding night. Our second I got pregnant before my A/F was due. GOOD LUCK and know that when the time it right it WILL happen!!!

have fun trying...and don't think about it..it will happen when you are relaxed and not stressed aabout having #2. TRUST ME you will be pregoo soon and you need to not let it consume you...when you relaxxxx great things WILL happen:)

I truly understand the frustration. Why is it so hard to conceive? I'm sure it will happen for you in time just like it did for us. Just know you can always come on here and vent your frustrations because there is always someone who's going through the same thing. Good luck to you and may God bless you very soon!

Hi, Nice to hear from you. gotta love the 2's. I hand it to you I wish I can have another would love to ahve another right now but my husband is totally not having the idea. How did you make him turn?? Did you bug him?LOl My husband would get upset if I kept nagging.LOL I guess I will be old by the time I even try to have another. SO glad you are much happier now, it's the best part of life. Good luck in TTC, and keep us updated.
