I got lucky with Anna. I've loved the name Anna for as long as I can remember. So when I became pregnant and asked him if he liked the name Anna and he said "Yes" I was beyond thrilled. Of course, we thought about using other names and her name was actually Adrienne until I was 37 weeks! Then we changed it back to Anna Grace. I'm so glad we did... it feels so right.
So now I am pregnant with baby #2. If you have read any previous blogs, you will see that we have already discussed names quite a bit. For a boy, I love and have always loved the name Charlie (Charles). Since about high school I've thought that it would be nice to name a boy Charlie. However, my husband hated the name. Completely disliked it in every way. So when we found out I was pregnant again, I asked him what he thought about Charlie and of course he threw it out the window. Until 2 days ago!!! He told me that he LOVES Charlie!!!! AHHH!!! So now I am SO EXCITED!!! *squeal with glee* Although I still like Collin, my #1 choice is hands-down Charlie.
Now we have been having issues with a girl name. We both like Leah Hope. However, I REALLY love Elisabeth.... I prefer it with an 'S' and not a 'Z'. Elisabeth Faith or Elisabeth Hope. Either or would do for me. Just not with a 'Z'. However... the dear husband prefers the 'Z'. Oh well, we still have time. I think if we cannot agree on how to spell Elisabeth, we will go with Leah Hope.
So that's my random blog. Anna Grace is napping so I ought to catch up on some sleep, too.

I love Elisabeth but how would you pronouce it? Charlie is so cute calling a little boy Charlie is just PRECIOUS!!! CONGRATS

Hehe picking out the name is the best part isn't it? I still find myself constantly fixating on names even though I'm not pregnant! I think Charles Gabriel sounds very nice! So would Colin Gabriel though, so I think you are good either way. I also love the idea of doing Elisabeth with an "s." I love unusual spellings though....my husband is just like yours in that he would rather use the traditional spelling of something! Guys are so boring that way :-P
