24-3-2009 - Baby clothes already Fussed overMy mood while writing this blog:
Fussed over

So my mother in law managed to hold off for four weeks until she bought the first baby present of tiny jumpsuits. I feel kind of bad that my first words were "Oh god not already." My mother in law laughed though and said that she'd waited as long as she could.

I'm a very non fuss person. I can handle people talking casually about me being pregnant but I can't handle and feel very uncomfortable with the "How are you feeling? Have you been sick?" etc. etc. So I've kind of been avoiding the people who do that, like my in laws. They mean well but they just can't help but fuss.

At this rate I won't need to buy baby clothes though, at an average of one item a week.

I must admit though, the jumpsuits are so tiny and cute.

Now counting down the days (again) until I get to see my baby at the ultrasound. My husband was really disppointed he missed out on hearing the heartbeat, but I had my doctor's appoitnment in my lunch break when my husband was at work too. He'll be coming to the ultrasound with me though.

thats so funny. you would hate my MIL, when we told her that we were having a baby she already had 2 of those large striped bags FULL of baby clothes that she has been buying for the last 3yrs waiting for her first grandchild! crazy woman but it is sweet that they are so excited.
oh and sorry i'm one of those people who keeps asking you how your feeling, i'll try remember not to.
hope your ultrasound goes well : )

haha...maybe you should tell your in laws "Me and sick? Are you kidding me? I feel like I'm gonna register for a marathon. All those stories about women feeling sick when pregnant are fricking lies!" Seriously, that would annoy the heck out of me. Of course we feel fricking sick and tired and moody....huh. Good luck!
