Do you want to do it with a big party? In the UK we don't really have bridal showers but more hen nights.... you could take her for the day for a spa treatement day where she can have massages, pedicures manicures etc etc or have a little gathering where you have everyone having their own disposable camera to take action shots and then give it to her in a photo album after, or fancy dress where there is a theme like black and white, or 70's. Sorry I'm probably not being much help at all!!

I'm the worst at those sorts of things I"m afraid. I was the maid of honor in one of my good friends weddings and I didn't even know that it was my job to throw her a shower. I felt like such a heel. So when it came to my wedding she was mine and she didn't throw me one either... ha ha

Hi Ladies,
So I am a very lucky person, I've had the same best friend since I was 4 and we've never even been in a fight - totally inseperable! Well happy day she's getting married in May and I'm her maid of honor! Here's the problem - she's an amazing party planner! Dosen't do it professionally, but she's incredible. She threw me a bridal shower and it was awesome, had all these cool ideas like everyone brought me a copy of their favorite recipe and she had everything like the napkins and m&m's personalized with my name on it, too much to mention. I won't even get into my 'hey diddle diddle baby shower" - again AWESOME! so if anyone has any cool bridal shower thoughts ideas I'd love to "wow" her!
