12-7-2008 - Week 15

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

OK, so it's been a little while since updating. Trystian is doing good. He seems to have cut back on eating, but after counting how many bottles we actually make, it seems he is a greedy hungry baby who eats plenty!! He's not eating the 36 oz that he once was a few weeks ago. He seems to eat on average about 30 oz a day now. It's been hectic with us getting ready to move!! So much is going on! Work isn't giving me much time off to deal with things. I got off work for 2 days so that I could run and outprocess some, but primarily needed to get the house ready for the movers to come pack it all up! Well those were some pretty stressful days!!! We got told we are allowed some time for babysitting free from the base while we outprocess and such. So I went and met with this very nice lady who is one of the family child care licensed providers. She loved Trystian from the start! Well, I dropped Trystian off on July 8 early at 0730 so that we can get the rest stuff done for TMO and hopefully they would show up early and get the little bit of packing done. Well guess what... TMO didnt show up till 3:00PM... yup you read right, 3PM!!!!! so after they left at 4:30PM, I went to pick up my lil man. He had been a handful all day to the sitter... apparently he wouldnt let her put him down for any amount of time!!! Well Trystian has been REALLY attached and doenst like to be put down, but usually you can put him down for a little bit of time each day while you run to the bathroom or something...

Well so on the 9th, we didnt want to use up the rest of our free babysitting just in case we needed some babysitting later on before we leave, so we asked a good friend to watch him. She has a son a year old. Well, We called the morning of the 9th and ended up waking her up... glad we didnt just go drop Trystian off at her house... Well so we end up waking her up. She tells us that she's tired and stressed (she is kinda stressed, her car broke down and so she has no car to get around, but she normally doesnt have the car cuz her husband takes it... ) but anyways.. she asks us if we can drop him off once the movers show up instead of dropping him off then waiting for the movers like the day before. Well so it's almost 12PM and the movers show up. My hubby drops him off at her house. At around 6PM, we get a phone call from her asking if we can come pick him up. I told her that the movers still had a bit to go, and that as soon as they leave I will be by. She tells me "Well my husband is home from work now and I want to have some family time." My thoughts are I know they have family time EVERY night... We wanted to find Trystian a babysitter for when TMO was there, cuz it's stressfull and busy and there is no time for me to play and pay full attention to Trystian. And She knows what it's like to be moved and have the movers there cuz she's a mil brat, and a mil wife... I tell her that if she really needs to, I can have Tony come pick him up but we will have to try to figure something out. Tony goes to pick him up... And she tells him "He wouldnt let me put him down all day so I couldnt get anything done........ He took a 3 hour nap around 1PM, so I got to do some housework......... I would watch him more, but I really want to spend time with my family tonight!!!!!!!" I'm like oh ok... I mean, she has family time every night!! I know this cuz if you call them while they are eating dinner and watching TV, then you get yelled at... and if she couldnt put him down all day, but yet he took a nap at 1 for like 3 hours, then that means in the oh 6 hours she had him, he slept half of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And we confirmed too, he slept in his carseat in the stroller, and was NOT in her arms during that time!!!... Well Tony and I tried to juggle watching him/holding him/changing diapers/and feeding him while watching the movers... It was exciting!!!

Needless to say poor Trystian wasnt having a completely fun week!!! with a babysitter here and there and I felt so bad doing it cuz I wanted to spend time with him since I wasnt at work!!!

The exercise started and I was jacked around being told I'm on days and nights and days and nights... back and forth!!! Well it all started the day after TMO packed us up. I was kinda expecting a phone call around 5am to be recalled in to start work... well at almost 7am, I got a phone call while taking care of Trystian. It was no one I knew but someone who was tracking accountability. Well I go into work and no one seems to know what's going on, and doesnt care that I wasnt in... Night shift is told to go home... I ask what shift I'm on... I'm told nights. I get ready to go, and get caught by a fellow night crew who has a lot of rank and tells me that he's going to check if I'm really on nights! He comes back and tells me I'm on Days, so I get ready to stay, and then he second guesses himself and said he would go check with the LOGMANAGER and ask. Well he goes in and says yes I'm nights. I get ready to walk out the door, and another ranking person tells me that I am on days. So I go sit down and get ready to be on days... Well around 10AM, the LOGMANAGER comes in and starts telling me something, then realizes who I am, and asks me why I'm not home... I tell him cuz I'm on days. He goes to check and brings back the paper and shows me I'm on nights. So that being said I go home... It's after 1000AM and so I'm like OK, so I've got to go back at 5PM.. I might as well get some outprocessing done that I'm losing time to do... Well so I end up being up like all day with my hubby and baby running around getting stuff done. We get home and I take an hour nap before I wake upa nd head to work to work nights. So the next morning I get home around 7am and then end up able to sleep 2 hours till Trystian decides he has had it with Daddy and needs to be with MAMA. So I get up and hold him hang out and play... We run around and get some outprocessing and stuff done and head home to pick up the rental furniture so that we dont have to sleep on the floor again. I get about another hour of peaceful sleep cuz I cuddled up with Trystian and took our nap together!!! I go to work, and am told to go home around 8PM. I go home and spend some time with hubby and Trystian and we get some home buying stuff done. I then get ready to sleep. Wake up extra early cuz work told me to go home at 8PM right, well that meant that I had to be into work at 5AM!!!!!!!! so from nights to days to night's to days!!!!! so I head into work, and at 2PM, the exercise ended. At 2:15PM, someone walked by my office and asked me why I was still here cuz the exercise ended. So it looks as though I was forgotten yet again!!!!!!!! Well anyways... It's been exciting!!!!!! ugh!!!!!!!!!!!! So ready to leave just so that we can settle down and give Trystian our FULL attention like he deserves!!!!!!!!!!!!
