My mood while writing this blog: Ok |
Tomorrow is my due date. I was kind of hoping to give birth today but really Im not upset about it. I had a check-up today and I am 3cm and 50% effaced. I have had a lot of contractions, painful but too short and irregular. The kids are still sick with the bug. I am feeling better, almost. Taking it easy. I lost 6lbs from last week. I enjoyed seeing the lower numbers but I know puking and diarrhea are not the way to lose weight especially during pregnancy. It was soooo painful throwing up, my whole body hurt and I kept having contractions. I thought I'd go into labor, thinking I wouldnt have an ounce of energy to have the baby. Anyway, today I am feeling a bit better but I want the rest of the family to feel better too. Aaron hasnt gotten sick yet but he thinks he might. He has been the best dad ever. He has gotten up in the night a whole bunch with the kids, changed their bedding. He did 6 loads of laundry today. I dont think he has ever done laundry since we've been married over 6yrs ago. Anyway, now I know he can do it! No more excuses. Hopefully he doesnt get sick. It would be horrible if he couldnt be with me at the hospital because he was sick. Anyway, I opted not to have her sweep me, even though I had originally planned to have her do it this week. We have been totally stressed with sickness and hospitals since last week. We need to get healthy!

Thursday, 9 Apr Maybe the baby knows you guys need some healing time before coming and he/she is just being considerate :-) I hope you all feel better soon! And that baby decides to show himself/herself when everyone is feeling a bit better :-)
Oh, and I know how you feel, my husband doesn't do laundry either :-) And the couple times he has tried, he's done things like throw in white towels with red towels (so I now have a bunch of pink towels :-)) and wash my delicates on hot water and put them in the dryer on high... so he's actually banned from doing our laundry :-)
Take care!
