My mood while writing this blog: Ok |
I had been getting worried about not feeling the baby move. I felt Isabel at 19 weeks but I felt Josiah at 15wks, possibly earlier. So I had expected to feel this one already. Last night I was poking and prodding at my uterus and I suddenly felt the baby move away from my poke. It surprised me because it was such a strong movement. I was able to do that a couple times. I loved it. I am so thankful that I was able to feel that. My husband doesnt like it when I poke and prod too hard. He thinks I will hurt the baby. He is afraid it will be deformed or something. I told him there is like 2 inches of fat, plus the uterus and the water bag, all protecting the baby. No way could I hurt it.
A lady at church yesterday came up to me and asked if I was expecting. I think she's the first person to ask me that. Most people at church know already, but its kind of neat to know that I actually am looking pregnant, rather than just fat. Other friends, family, have said that I am starting to get the pregnant belly, too. I bought some new maternity clothes. You'd think I would have enough, this being the third. Josiah was a summer babe so I mostly had summer clothes with that pregnancy. Some of my winter clothes from my first time, are either missing from letting people borrow them, or I hated them and wont wear them again. I ended up buying jeans, and a long sleeve t- from GAP and a pair of velour sweats from old navy. I cant believe I spent so much on the jeans, and they were on sale! Only place I could find pants that actualy came in a number size rather than just SML. I also bought a really comfy pair of Levi's last pregnancy, but I guess they dont make them anymore. Cant find them on the web. Oh well, the GAP ones I think they will be super comfy. They are big right now, but Im not getting any smaller in the next few months! I really like the t-shirt because its got gathers along the side of the torso so there is room to grow, but its not like all wide, big, and flowy like some maternity shirts.
