A crazy week for Aaron and I but I'm glad we decided to keep the appt for the ultrasound. It was something fun in the middle of a very busy week.
We decided we didnt want to find out the sex of the baby so, we didnt. The ultrasound tech told us not to look right away incase when the picture came up on the screen it wasnt right in the babys privates showing us what we didnt wish to see. I wouldnt have minded finding out, had baby's parts been that obvious.
Anyway, we saw all baby's other parts, and everything is healthy. Thank you God. There is always a little part of me that is worried that something will be wrong, like a heart defect or something. She was able to get all the measurements she needed and then asked us if we wanted a 3D ultrasound. Of Course! She said they dont offer it very often because it takes a lot of time, and there isnt usually enough time scheduled for each women. Since we didnt spend time looking for baby's sex, we had time to try the 3D. It was really cool and we got one cute pic. Baby wasnt really very cooperative and didnt want its picture taken, so we didnt get a real good shot. Baby kept putting its hands in front of its face. Being difficult. I think it must be a boy. Hehe.
I'm really excited about this baby, and love her or him so much already. I think I'm just as excited as I have been for all my pregnancies. Sometimes its hard to imagine enough love for them all, but God loves everyone. Since we are created in His image, I'm sure we can find it within our nature to love several people completely and unconditionally, maybe not as well as God does, but enough to raise a child thats feels loved.

Congrats on your ultrasound :-) I'm so glad that he/she is healthy! :-)
I think the suspense of waiting to find out what it is would drive me nuts :-) We've always said that we'll find out (neither of us has 40 weeks of patience :-)) Plus its easier to shop for :-)
Do you have names picked out for each gender?

Glad to hear the u/s sound went well!!! We don't know if we are having a boy or girl either. My belly button was in the way so now we think it will be fun for it to be a surprise. :)
