10-2-2009 - Surgery

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Isabel had her adenoids out today, and ear tubes put in. She did a great job and is recovering well. She didn't have her tonsils out, so recovery will be fairly quick. Right now she is being spoiled, eating popsicles, and pudding, and watching movie after movie. I thought she would have a nap this afternoon but what 5yr old says they want a nap? Oh well, I just had a little nap, until the phone rang twice.Now I am eating ice cream and watching Veggie Tales with Isabel.
She couldnt have breakfast this morning, so neither did I because I would have felt horrible eating in front of her. By surgery time, I had a banana, but I was freakin hungry when we left the hospital at 11. I felt lousy, and ate some sugary applesauce at my MIL when I picked up my son. I hate being hungry. Then I got home and ate a plate of nachos and now ice cream. I used low fat cheese, and ice cream is light. Makes me feel a little less guilty.
Decided to paint my bedroom yesterday. Its nothing pretty, basically very close to white, but its clean looking. I must be nesting. Unfortunately I didnt start til too late last night and only got one wall done and I was too tired.
