Hey ladies!
Well I had my Glucose screening today, it was def not as bad as everyone told me. My Obgyn was really helpful this visit since I had a few questions. She also told me whenever I want it she'll give me a note for disabilty at work. She is very nervous i'll fall since there is not much traction on the floor and my shoes at my job. I switch to my slip-guard shoes at the end of the night, but during my shift I'm in my sneakers or else my back and feet hurt too much. Disability should be about 300 a week since I make between 600-800 on my two shifts right now. So yay for that. Anyway- She measured my tummy and it was 26 cm which is perfect since i' m starting my 27th week. And with my 27th week she told me i'm offically in my third trimester! I just can't believe it! I'm so excited. She also said my weight is good even tho I put on another 5 lbs. 140!!! I've never weighed this much.
We also did our hosptial tour. Which was great as well. I think I am not gonna go with the birthing center, although it was very nice, I liked the reg rooms better. For post-partum tho most of the rooms are shared, which reaaallly sucks because my fiancee cannot stay over night with me, I really don't wanna be just left alone after the baby. You can put yourself on a list for a private room, but there are only seven and no pos. yes you'll get one. If you do get one it's 850 bucks. which is a lot of money for us. The rooms are so much nicer tho, and you don't have to share a bathroom. What do you ladies think?
