13-2-2010 - Almost 4 month update/life update!

Hi mommies and mommies-to-be! I hope this blog finds you all healthy and happy. I'll talk about Rhys first since his life is much more exciting then mine! Rhys will be 4 months in 5 days. Crazy. Month 3 was a little trying. He stopped sleeping through the night and cried horribly almost everyday. We began to think that he was starting to teeth. He was drooling through shirts, hands always in his mouth and he started knawing and chewing on anything put to his mouth. Luckily we got through it and this last week has ben wonderful. Although he still cries once a day he has been developing like a pro. We started doing Gymboree for 0-6 month olds at the 3 month mark. Rhys loves it and I love it too. We sing songs, do tummy time on a mirror and dance around so the babies can see the other babies.
As we approach the 4 month mark, Rhys has been talking so much. He has started trying to touch my lips and mouth with his hand and he watches me intensely as if he is trying to figure out how I am making certain sounds. He does not really imatate any sounds i make, but I'm letting him do everything at his own speed! He had rolled over from back to front to back, but since he did that he has decided he is bored with it and has not tried again :(. He loves his belly time now and is right arm is very strong and he pushes up on it, he also reaches out with his right arm and can push, grab and pull his toyus I place in front of him. I'm a very proud mama. Oh- the last time we went to the doctor he weighed 12.5. So I think he must be like 13 lbs by now!
Okay- as for me, many of you read my blog that my fiancee had some no so nice text converstations with his ex. Although I have not forgotten, I have forgiven. I just realized I was spending way too much enegry on this event. We are continuing therapy which is going great and we should be moving into our new house in a month which I think will help alot cause we won't be on top of each other like we are now. I explained to him that I will lay off trying to control everything he does if he can show more outward love for me right now. Which he totally has! I also told him it's fine if he talks to his ex, but that if i find anything I don't deem as pg converstation that i'm gone. He agreed, saying that I am the best thing he could ever find and he doesn't want to mess this up. And sine that, he actually has not talked to her. (He lets me see his phone and FB and stuff). thank you all for our support during that time. It meant a lot. Okay sorry this is long, but I wanted to update everyone. I hope everyones LOs are doing great. Cheers:)

Awww yay for Rhys! Gymboree sounds wonderful. I'll have to see if they have one out here. I'm glad things are going well with Jed. I hope you guys can eventually come to a sense of trust where he doesn't need to show his phone/FB/email (as comments and records can be deleted anyway) and that his ex becomes less and less a need in his life. Everyone makes mistakes. I REALLY hope he has learned from this one! Your little family is amazing. Hope he appreciates it :)
