24-9-2009 - Another preggers survey-I love them!!

My mood while writing this blog: sleepy- off to acupuncture in a bit tho.

How far along are you? Well They first told me Oct 24th, but it got moved to Oct 29th so sometime around then?

What craving do you have? In the start fruits and salad and veggies. I just like sugar now- which I wish I didn't.

What makes you sick? The smell of cigarette smoke and Newark and farts. They make me cry.

Boy or Girl? It's a boy. yay.

Any names? We have a few picked out, but were going to wait to see him then pick. My fiancee really wanted to wait til we saw him. So I gave in.

Best maternal advice? Make sure to walk and stretch alot in your first and second trimester cause your hips will start to kill you by the end. Also surround yourself with supportive people.

Baby's Father? Jed Fort. My one and only.

His reaction? Better than mine!! He held me on the couch while I cried thinking I was wrecking his life and mine. He said that he always wants to be with me and if that means me and a baby he is not goingany where. He was very sweet and loving.

Best pregnant memory so far? um- getting like $ 75-$100 bucks more a night at work once i started showing. hehe. people give more to preggo waitresses. went from making like 250 to 350 or 400 sometimes! I dunno why this is writing in bold now.

Biggest fear? Not knowing i'm in labor til the second stage or something.

Strangest symptoms so far? nothing too strange actually- maybe that my pubic bone hurts so much.

Best advantage of being pregnant? People help you out with lifting things and stuff

Weirdest dreams? dunno if i should write this. I dreamt that i gave birth to the baby through my belly button but it was premmie and died while i was trying to nurse it. Then I ate it, but by that point it was a loaf of bread. Very weird.

Any crazy emotional outbursts? Of course- I laid in bed singing the lyrics to The Greasest Love of all and sobbed thinking how amazing the words were. Jed just laughed at me.

Any changes in your breast? they got a full size bigger hell yeah!! I was pretty flat.

Any changes in the waist? I guess so.

Things you quit for baby? mm caffine, but I still have decaf coffee once in a while, sushi,drinking( I was not a heavy drinker before tho) sushi was the saddest to give up.

Most uncomfortable time? When I go to turn over at night and my hips and pubic bone kill me.

Worst part about being pregnant? mmm, putting on 30 pounds? And not gettingto work these last two months.

Best maternaty clothes? I have this yellow sundress from victorias secret. I looovveee it.

Any prenatal classes? We have three classes left in our Bradley Birthing class!

Pregnancy Necessities? Water, foot and leg massages,someone to listen to you complain about evvveerryything.

Family's reaction? My mom is obsessed. It's boardline scary. Everyone else is very very excited

Godparents? We are not religous, buti grew up with god parents( even tho i'm jewish) so i wanna make my best friend meg and her boyfriend paul godparents.

Where will you deliver? At St. Lukes Roosevelt on 56th and 10th in NYC. 40 min from our house.

When? mmmm, when he feels like coming?

Will you breastfeed? absolutly. hoping everything works out with that.

Cloth diapers? hahahaha- I saw an episode of Dirty Jobs where he went to a cloth diaper cleaning place. Never.
