I can't believe Bentley will be a week old tommorrow!!!

Time is already flying by!

Tommorrow is Gavin's Valentine's party @ daycare. Even though he don't go to daycare on Friday's, they are going to let us take him to his party. Here's the thing.... I'm NOT going to take Bentley to Gavin's daycare with me @ a week old. If he is going to catch something....that will be the place he'll catch it.

Here are my options:

1) Let my mom babysit Bentley while I take Gavin to his Valentine's party!!!

OR

2) Let my mom take Gavin to his Valentine's party!!

Tough situation. I never imagined I'd leave my ONE WEEK OLD with someone, BUT I would also like to take Gavin to his party!!!

What would YOU do?

Opinions/Advice please!!!

My sadness has pretty much went away....it's not near as bad as it was!!

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well!!!

I am still reading the blogs, just not commenting as much....I've been CRAZY busy!!! (I'm sure ya'll understand)!

Don't make Gavin come second when he doesn't have to. Take him to the party and leave Bently with your mom. Daycare parties aren't that long. Enjoy that special time with Gasvin and let your mom have g-mom tine 1 on 1 with Bently.

I say take Gavin to his party and leave Bentley with his grandma. I can't imagine the party would be that long and it will help reinforce that he has nothing to be jealous of.

I agree with the others take Gavin to his party...My mom has stayed with my lil man a few times already so I could take my oldest son to his Cub Scouts and Basketball stuff.

Let your mom babysit for a couple hours. That's nothing. Your Gavin will remember your not being there for him. It's more important to go to Gavin's party. Your little one won't realize what's going on. Gavin will.

I personally would leave Bentley with your mother and take Gavin. If you trust her then everything will be ok. Gavin will appreciate time with mommy at his party. I am glad to hear that your baby blues are subsiding! That's wonderful. And they all grow up so fast, next thing you know Bentley will be walking lol!
