Happy Valentines Day!!!

So... Yesterday was Gavin's Valentines Day party @ daycare as most of you know.

I ended up not going with either of the options I was contemplating in my last blog...

Me, my mom , Gavin & Bentley ALL went to his party :) I know alot of you are probably thinking.... "You took a one week old to daycare"..... Yep, I'm guilty. I kept him covered, and we sat off in the corner... if that helps any. I had so much fun watching Gavin interact with all of his little friends!! He introduced me to all of them, and it's nice to have a face to go with the name now. Now that he moved up classrooms he has ALOT of new friends, and I finally got to meet them. Now when he talks about them, I'll can actually picture the person he is talking about. I got to meet his new teacher. Her name is Ms. Amanda, and she is really nice! He had a blast, and ate a TON!!

I'm still deciding on whether or not I'm going to go back to work. It's a really tough decesion..... and obviously I don't want to... but it's alot less stressful not having to watch every penny we spend. I'll be the first to admit, I like nice things, for me... but more so for my kids, and it's just not as easy with one person working. Right now, I'm working on making a list of small things I can do to make extra money.... such as: cleaning houses, mowing lawns, working the consession stand @ my grandpa's auction, saving cans & recycling them, detailing cars, selling on Ebay... the list goes on. I'm trying everything I can to think of things to do to help me make the income I would be making if I were working, which obviously wouldn't be too much since we'll be paying close to $200 a week in daycare, plus the gas to drive back and forth & missing when the kids are sick. It's really tough... I'm just praying for the right thing to do!!!!

Any advice!?!?

Anyway, the end of this blog turned out a little different than expected, but it came to mind... so I thought I'd blog about it.

Oh yeah.....

I know what made me think of it!! I got an application for Gavin's daycare. I know you would get a discount if you worked there and your children goes there, but I'm not for sure exactly how much. And I know the pay for daycare workers around here STINKS, so I would just have to weigh out my options.
