10-1-2009 - ANOTHER GOOD SOILDER GONE

My mood while writing this blog: SAD

OK WELL I AM SORRY TO SAY THAT IS BLOG IS GONNA BE SAD.

WELL I WOKE UP TO A PHONE CALL THIS MORNING AROUND 6:00 AM I WAS KINDA EXCITED CAUSE I SAW IT WAS MY BABY CALLING FROM IRAQ BUT IT TURNED OUT TO BE A HORRIBLE CALL.

I WAS INFORMED THAT OUR BEST FRIEND WAS KILLED IN AFGANISTAN HE WAS CHUCKS BEST FRIEND/BROTHER/BATTLE BUDDY ECT...

AND IF ANY OF YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO SEND OFF YOUR MEN TO WAR IT IS THE HARDEST THING I HAVE EVER HAD TO DO.

IT WAS A SUCIDE BOMBER AND WE LOST JOSH AND ANOTHER GOOD GUY AND ABOUT 4 MORE WERE INJURED. HE DIED INSTANTLY ON JAN 8, 2009 HE WAS ONLY 22 YEARS OLD HE EVEN HAD A BIRTHDAY COMING UP ON THE 7 OF THIS MONTH. AND HE WAS SO EXCITED TO BE A GODFATHER/UNCLE. HE WAS GONNA BE BROOKLYNN'S GODFATHER. I COULD JUST IMAGINE THE PAIN AND ANGER HIS FAMILY IS GOING THROUGH.

PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM AND HIS FAMILY SORRY FOR SUCH A DEPRESSINF BLOG BUT I JUST HAD TO LET OFF SOME STEEM.

I understand completely how you feel darling. Instead of getting a call about a friend it was about my brother in law. My husband and his brother were both in Iraq [not together] and his brother stepped on a pressure activated bomb. I still remember having to tell my husband about his brother because nobody could call him over there so I emailed him and he called me right back and I had to explain it all. I also had to call my husbands sister. It was horrible.

I pray that peace is with his family and your husband. Time will ease the pain but the memory will always be there. If you need to talk I'm here for you! -hugs-

im sorry to hear about your loss.... a guy that i went to school with named keith died yesturday in afgan... so it was kinda weird to hear this too....

Sorry to hear about that...sometimes its hard for me to hear these stories with my hubby being out there, but when they go there we understand the sad possibilities...My praryers are with your fam.
