Okay, well today when I woke up I went to the bathroom and there was spotting. Of course I totally freaked, but tried my best to stay calm. My husband is deployed and he is always the one to keep me calm in any situation.....

Okay, well today when I woke up I went to the bathroom and there was spotting. Of course I totally freaked, but tried my best to stay calm. My husband is deployed and he is always the one to keep me calm in any situation.....
Well I rushed and showered and dressed and waited for him to call so I could tell him what when on and that I was going to go to the hospital. He was so calm on the phone and I was in tears.
I got to the hospital and went up to L&D. They ran a bunch of tests on me and the baby and everything came back okay. The heartbeat was 150 and no contractions. Then she did a physical exam and saw that there was bleeding but said that it was not coming from the baby so that was good. There is no infection and she said that sometimes there is just so much blood in the body during pregnancy that it happens. Also I have something called vaginal ectopy so that's why I was spotting and that since everything looks fine not to worry about it unless I start cramping and bleeding more rather than spotting.
They did an ultrasound too and the baby was very active and the heart is beating great. The baby even gave a good strong kick while the doc was doing the ultrasound :)
