| 05-5-2009 - 28 Week Appointment |  My mood while writing this blog:EXCITED! |
I had my 28 week appointment today with Ultrasound to measure my cervix. I found out that I am measuring 29 weeks 3 days so my due date was changed to July 18th. The baby is weighing in at 2 lbs 11 oz. My cervix measured 3.3 which is GREAT!
My doc said keep doing what I am doing with the bed rest as it seems to be going well and my cervix is not changing. I put Ultrasound Pics up. Doc told me I can take the Terbutaline every 4-6 hours instead of every 6 if I continue to notice more painful contractions. He is trying to establish a baseline since I am getting some very sporadic painful Braxton Hicks as opposed to the generalized tightening that I had been experiencing. Since I have never carried a pregnancy this far along he does not have an established history or pattern for contractions and wants to figure out what is normal for me versus what is normal by medical science because all women are different.
It was an excellent appointment and I will see him back in 2 weeks.
