| 27-7-2009 - So soon???? | My mood while writing this blog:Positive |
I can't believe I am having my second baby next week???? No matter how hard I think about it I can't quite get my head round it! I can't even decide if this pregnancy has gone fast or slow. The 8th Dec was the day I found out I was pregnant and Christmas seems like an age ago, but on the other hand I can't believe I on the home run! Last week I was niggling like hell and my Midwife said she thought I'd be lucky to make 39 weeks for the c-section, but things have quietened down now and I'm pretty confident I'll get there.
I worry a little for Ash, my 15 month old, as I will have to be a little hands off for a while with him after surgery. I can't pick him up and I know from past experience it could be a good month before I can kneel down. I'm going to find a way to make sure I get/give plenty of cuddles. I think its going to be really emotional when I leave him at his Nana's next Thursday night - he'll be staying with her until I come home from hospital, my husband will be there with him as well though. I'm not looking forward to that bit in the slightest.
I can't believe I'm going to be lay on that operating table again, its just madness, and I'm hoping with all my might that everything goes as well as last time - I really want to make the most of it, as although I don't want this to be my last pregnancy I want to enjoy the experirnce. I was soooo scared last time, and this time I want to savour the birth of my baby. I want to cry this time for the joy of seeing him, not from the relief that the surgery is over! Lol. I think this baby is going to be bigger than Ash (He was 7lb 1 1/2) I think Vincent Romero Hill will be about 7 1/2 lb, or even 8lb. He feels like such a strong lad to, I hope he has a better start than Ash did. I want him to not go hungry and be peaceful....it would be nice if I got a little sleep in hospital this time, but we'll see!
Right, well, Ash is awake and he'll be wanting his turkey sandwich and banana!
Much love ladies and thanks for listening to my thoughts.
