18-12-2009 - update on the twins and i

My mood while writing this blog: worried .

i had three doctors appoitments yesterday . one was my NST and everything was great . baby A ( Eliana Lynn ) was messing with her cord as usual , baby b ( Payton Elizabeth ) was great the whole time . everything there was really well . my ultra sound went very very good . Baby A weighs 5 pounds 15oz and baby B weighs 5 pounds 12 oz . they had no room to do nothing . so the pictures were not the best but i got to see them both : ] and they are both head down now . that is if baby b doesnt deside to become breech again - she normal flips off and on so theres no telling what shes going to do . then i met with the doctor after the ultra sound . my BP was high , and ive been retaining tooooo much water ( 7 pounds of it in less then a week ) he was very concerned ! if i gain four more pounds by monday hes going to make another game plan . and i had to get sent out to get blood work done to test me for toxemia AGAIN ! - ill find out today at 330 the results and if i have it my girls will be out sometime today - very scary !! and if i dont have it , then on sunday i have to collect my urine for 24 hours and then i go back to the doctors on monday . so yesterday was a very long and stressful day . and he put me on best rest . im aloud to get up two hours a day tops to do whatever then the rest of the time i have to stay in bed and im only aloud up to use the restroom after that :( being in bed sucks ! hope everything with you and your little one is going good . joys of being pregnant .

Your pics look great! Your babies are huge! I had the health visitor round yesterday and my girls dont even weigh 5 pounds each yet! Nearly but not quite. They are so well behaved, they never cry and still get most sleep at night time. I bet you can't wait to meet your girls!

Hey fellow mommy to twins! I am just one week behind you with boy /girl twins on the way. Sounds like your baby girls are doing great! You look fabulous in your picture. How are you managing with the belly? I'm totally struglling and ready for this to be over. In fact, our babies are a bit smaller, probably around 5 and a quarter pounds now each, and we are ready to start trying to induce from home. We are even going to attempt sex today to get things moving. Isnt your doctor looking at inducing you very soon? I'm not sure I understand the need to keep you pregnant for much longer if you are having any sort of complications. The babies will be just fine if they come now. I hope for your sake that at your next visit they send you off to the hospital to be induced and all goes smoothly. Hugs D
