27-2-2011 - Chemical Pregnancy

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Well it looks as though I am having/had another chemical pregnancies. I started spotting brown/pink at 7DPO and it continued till last night at 11DPO, it was very light and I only noticed it when I wiped. I thought it was probably implantation spotting and I did test at 10DPO but it was negative. Then last night (11DPO) I noticed a small amount of tissue when I wiped so thought I should test again and it was a very faint positive. Then this morning (12DPO) I started having heavy bleeding...a lot more than regular AF, with a lot of tissue/clots : /

I am a bit bummed but really accept it and know it is for the best. If it did not implant properly or if my body rejected it..it was for a reason and I am thankful my body is able to "do the dirty work" so to say rather than having to have a d&c. I would also much rather know now than latter, like my last miscarriage at 10 weeks. Also it may be odd to others but I find comfort in knowing that it was not actually a baby yet...it was still simply cells forming and I hadn't had much time if any to become attached.

It is a little sad to me how much of a challenge maintaining a healthy pregnancy is for my body (2 chemical pregnancies, 1 missed miscarriage and two healthy-successful pregnancies), but I am blessed in many ways and at this very moment I have a health-happy 10 month old smiling at me to cheer my up! : )

I also feel like the odds are in my favor for next time, so hopeful I will be getting a dark/strong BFP in the next couple months and have a healthy-happy 9 months ; )
