17-7-2008 - IM POOPED!!!!!!

My mood while writing this blog: POOPED!!!

I went to my last Doctors appointment today...I was there FOREVER!! They never told me I was supposed to take my glucose test today or I would have made my appointment earlier, so I didnt get it. I go see the midwife on Monday so Ill tell her then and maybe shell just do it.

When I was measured I measured at 29.5 weeks....Im only 26.5 weeks....does this mean anything to any of you veterans?? She didnt really explain much to me...to me it seems that he is big?? I have no clue, I go back next week on Wed (unless the midwife will do it Monday) for an ultrasound. I have always measured right on time although I have felt like the past couple weeks I have had more growth (belly wise) than normal, which I was just saying to myself the other day...I have new stretch marks this week too, they are small, but right on my sides so I KNOW that Ive done some growing. If Im trying to go natural I sure hope he isnt gonna get HUGE!!!! AHHHH! Thats gonna hurt! Please dont tell me if y"all had to have c sections and be induced and crap if they were big, I just DONT wanna know.

I am INCREDIBLY tired the past couple weeks. Just exhausted. I have been swimming, which I THOUGHT was awesome for preggos but my doc said today that she would rather see me walking...its hot as BALLS outside, I wanna swim!!! I was suprised that she didnt think that swimming was that beneficial...the treadmill kicked my ASS last time I tried it and I have been going to Curves but I kinda stopped since Ive been doing the swimming thing...Im TRYing to get exercise but its hard!!! I just wanna sleep!

Lastly, Im super excited to start to see the midwife next week, my doctor seems like she doesnt want me to go, but its not her vagina, lol. Thats how I feel!! Im thinking about hiring a doula too, just for my husband but Ill ask the midwife next week if thats necessary or not...I could always hire her postpartum, you buy them in hours increments postpartum.
