| 31-3-2009 - doing ok... | My mood while writing this blog:ok |
Hi everyone. First of all a huge thank you to everyone who helped me through my miscarriage! Its amazing how much someone you have never met can help you so much!
So I have been doing ok, I have not been bleeding at all for about 2 days now! Which is a relief, you can only wear those stupid pads for some time without going crazy...
I think emotionally I have handled this really well. I know it has been so much easier to deal with because of my son Ryder. I am so thankful to have such an amazing little boy! Even if he kept me up all night last night because he is getting 5 teeth coming through at once! 4 of them are his one year old molars... ouch!
My husband is finding it a little harder, he notices pregnant people all the time, and little babies. And it gets him a little upset! But he knows that god has a greater plan and it will all be ok.
So my sister inlaw had twins back in december, the were very premature, born at only 26 weeks! Well a week ago they got to bring home the little girl. It was so amazing to see this little miracle!!! I just loved holding her, she is so tiny and precious. Even after having a miscarriage barely 2 weeks ago, it did not bother me the slightest to hold my little mirace neice!
She went into premature labor from getting Listeria. So unfortunate. Both the twins contracted the infection too. The little boy has had such a rough time. Too many blood transfusions to count. And so many infections. And more operations most people have ever had. He only has one more operation to go. He is such an inspiration, such a fighter!! I hope he is home in the next couple of month!
Listeriosis is that infection you hear about but think it will never happen to you! I have to admit with my next pregnancy I will be more cautious about what I eat. My sister inlaw was extremely cautious too, didnt even eat chicken! So it was so unlucky that she got it! What makes it even worse is they were given a one in a million chance of ever having biological children. They have been trying for years. So the twins are miracles already. Gods work is amazing! And their faith is the strongest I have ever seen.
Well I guess I have ranted enough now! Thanks so much everyone for listening and being there for me!
And for all of my fellow friends who are TTC, very very sticky baby dust to you all!! I cannot wait to join you at TTC again. I know we will all get our precious little babies soon.
