| 03-7-2009 - Waiting for my first ultrasound |  My mood while writing this blog:cold and nervous! |
I only have 12 more sleeps until my first ultrasound at 7 1/2 weeks, I feel like I am in the two week wait again lol! I don't like wishing time away, but I am hoping that the time goes fast! I am reluctant to think of myself as being pregnant and my thoughts at the moment are that I might be pregnant (10 possitive hpt's lol!) and that if I see a heartbeat at the ultrasound (please, please, please!) then that will confirm in my mind that I am infact preggo and that I can start to bond with bubs. I hate that at the moment when I catch myself rubbing my tummy or daydreaming about the baby that I stop to protect myself incase it ends up being another miscarriage :( No morning sickness yet, I think that if I was sick I would feel a little less nervous but I guess that I am only 5w5d at the moment so it might be just around the corner. And boy is it cold at the moment here in Australia, had frost all over the lawn this morning and our clothes are not designed to handle anything under 20 celsius, I think that I was wearing about 3 layers of clothes today! Very jealous of everyones hot weather in the U.S!
Well, that's about it for now.... hope that everyone is well :)

I had to say hi, I'm Bec. I'm from week 15. I too have had two miscarriages last being in october last year. It makes you very nervy. I am now pregnant again but suffering from Placenta Abruption. Stay Positive. I'm thinking of you. I have a friend due the same day and as your profile name suggested you too were an aussie I had to stop in and see how you were doing. I'm in Queensland and although we're considered a warm state. I'm still freezing.

I undterstand the hesitancy about bonding with babe, but every pregnancy is different, and this baby is sticky! Can't wait to hear about your ultrasound, and best of luck!

I hope all goes well with the Ultrasound. I understand what you are saying about seeing the heartbeat to make it real! It was only then that i felt like i could get really excited that i am going to be a mummy :) So all my thoughts and prayers are with you :) Any yes it is even cold and windy in QLD the Sunshine state lol.

I hope your ultrasound goes well. As far as united states warm weather? You can take it back. Lol. I live in California and I'm melting! It's over 100 in my car in the afternoons and I cant touch the steering wheel! Cant wait to go to the beach tomorrow for 4th of July :) At least it should be cooler at the beach.

i hope that everything goes well at the u/s..well u are lucky to have that cold weather..u dont have to deal with beach traffic..it was a mad house last night..darn outter staters..lol..the big beaches that we have are..lewes,rehoboth,dewey,bethany,OC beaches..

Oh man I know how you feel!!!! Don't worry I'm due the same time as you and I do not feel sick yet either. I found out way too early w/this pregnancy and I usually don't feel sick until 6-8 weeks. I'm actually praying for the sickness, because like you, I know it will actually make me feel better. Hang in there!

I hope everthing goes well with your ultrasound. I have my second one in 18 sleeps and I cant wait to see my twins again. As for the cold I know what you mean I live in Canberra and it is really starting to get frezzing both day and night. A couple of weeks back it was something like -8 and it killed alot of my plants from the shock. Anyway try to relax I know not easy but I am sure everything is all right.
