08-10-2008 - Am i the only woman in the world who DOESN\'T want to finish work???

Ok, so i finish work on friday for 7 months maternity leave, we had a lush buffet in work yesterday to say farewell and i had some lovely next vouchers for the babba...

I really really don't want to finish work! I don't want to be sat at home waiting for something to happen i want to have my mind occupied for as long as possible and i feel absolutely fine but my team leader won't let me stay on because i'm so big now and i will only have 3 and a half weeks left until my due date.

Plus i had 6 people who were due to have babies before me and the last one had her baby last night which means i'm next!!! I had a sudden realisation that i was pregnant when i heard she'd had her c-section!

Am i in denial and just trying to block it out or am i genuinely turning into a mother and wanting to be busy all the time???......

DENIAL! lol

I am gettin soooo nervous....

i can see where you are coming from hun, i had to start my maternity leave at 35 weeks because i drive for a living and i was having trouble getting behind the steering wheel lol, i was then sat at home for a further 7 weeks as my lil guy was just to happy in there, you havent got long till your due date so put your feet up and get some rest xx
