So, I quit my job on April 6th and now I stay home with Kareem. I get to spend all day with him. It is amazing. It is interesting how certain things happen on important dates. April 6th is my father's bday.
Kareem started walking last Friday, on April 22nd, EARTH DAY!! How cool is that? My baby's gift for us on Earth Day.. I am still in awe...feeling lately like my life is a movie. Looking at this little boy's face and ask myself "what was I doing all my life before him?"...how did I get this fortunate? My husband said one day: "God was good to me when he sent Kareem"
I try to stay in every moment and enjoy it as I know they will never come back. The next day he will be older, bigger and different. Last year this time he was just a little munchkin only learning our faces and smile. Now he is running around, shakes his head to say NO to a question, comes up to me to kiss me, plays games with me, imitates animal sounds, he loves teasing and says HI to people all the time.
I watch him in his sleep..I can watch him until the end of the world.
