22-4-2009 - Stress becomes me...

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

I am so excited to start week 13 today! The last week and a half of the first trimester! I cannot believe it! Wow! It seemed so far away when I was found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks. And now it just seems to have gone so quickly! A huge part of me really hopes that the next 2 trimesters don't go nearly this quick! We have not gotten a single thing yet out of fear that something would go wrong...

We're working on his place to get it ready for us all to move in there. It's not even close to being where we need it for baby and is definitely not in move in condition yet. I'm kinda freaking out about it actually since we have to be out of my place by the end of August. My apartment is tiny and there is barely enough room for us and the dog as it is. So we need to move. He owns a mobile home that it was given to him by his grandma after his brother moved out of it. The entire place was destroyed so it had to be gutted and rebuilt due to pipes bursting while he lived in Italy for 6 months. He’s never been in a hurry to get it done seeing as it wasn’t really necessary. But now it is very necessary. We need floors, a water heater, a sink, a stove, cabinets in the kitchen, a toilet, a new flu (speling?) thingy for the wood stove, more tiles for the kitchen and bathroom floors… oh the list could go on and on and on. I think I’m going to lose my mind soon.

We would just rent a bigger place but his place is extremely cheap as it’s been paid off for years so all we have to pay is lot rent!! So we just plan to live there for the first year or two and stack away cash to buy a house and then sell his place. Who knows if it will ever sell, but the inside is all custom done and will be beautiful when we're finally done! Lol! Each and every day though I find myself wondering if it’s all worth this hassle… Although I’m sure every penny we save will make it all seem worth it in the end when we find a house to buy and we can actually buy it! The end just seems so very far way right now…

And I bought a used vehicle for $1200 from a "friend" on February 1^st! 2 weeks ago it died and needs more work than what I paid for the damn thing! So now I need to get a new car too… which has to be a newer one because I cannot worry about my car breaking down with a newborn in it!

Uuuggghhh… let the stress finally set in apparently…
