17-11-2008 - First apointment

My mood while writing this blog: Super happy!!!

We had our first apointment today and what a long one! We were there for like 3hrs! We met the nurse where she asked me a pile of questions, weighed me and took my pressure. She tried to hear the heartbeat but couldn't, she could detect it but we couldn't catch it. Then I had my doctor's resident who asked me another pile of questions, did my physical and pap, wow was it ever painful! I had quite a hard time with that. But then came the moment, my doctor came in and we did a ultrasound where we were able to see the baby and the heartbeat! His/her arms and legs were just going! Doctor said that it was very active and that chances of miscariage were less then 1% WOOHOO! Then I went for a pile of bloodtests! Wow it was a long apointment but it was so worth it! **I have posted the picture of the ultrasound**, it's a little hard to see the baby since the measurements are right on top of it.
