10-5-2009 - Baby shower and more

I'm a little late but here goes!

I had my baby shower last weekend. It was a lot of fun and I have some pics posted on my profile if you want to take a look at them. It was small just my father's side of the family and some of my friends. I a lot of great presents and I feel more ready for my little boy now. I'm just missing a couple of things but it all can wait for the shower my MIL is throwing after the baby's born.

I went for my apt this past Friday. I have all my doctor's papers for me to be off of work, on medical leave, until the baby's born and then my mat leave will kick in. It feels so nice to be off and finally I'll get to take care of myself and the house! The baby's measuring right on and he's still doing well. Saturday morning I woke up and started clearing out the house. My husband helped me a lot which was great. We got a lot done!

I'm so looking foward to seeing my little boy and be able to hold him! There are a couple of bets going on my side of the family they all think that I'll be going in early. The dates they've picked are between 7-11th of June and then some near my due date. We'll just have to wait and see who wins the bet!
