27-1-2009 - 36wk doc visit

My mood while writing this blog: happy!!!

so yesterday while i was at work i was having sharp pains in my vajay. here and there. then later towards the day the pains became a little more consistent. so i called my doc and it was already after 5 so i got the answering service. my doc called me back and said to relax and take tylenol and to come in this morning.

i go in pee, blood pressure, and weight. FINALLY i get in a room. doc checks me and im 1cm dilated. she wants to give me a ultrasound to check my fluids. so shes checking everything. hes head down, face down, and breathing on his own. hes also 6lbs! (at 36wks1d) she said hes very healthy!! =) but i need to drink ALOT of water bc my fluids are low and i dont want to have a dry birth. idk what that is but it sure does sound bad. she also said it looks like i'll have a easy birth with the way hes positioned. then as she finishes she says "HES READY TO COME OUT!" eeeeeeeek. she told me i need to take it easy bc full term isn't considered until 37wks. which i'll be 37 next monday. (the day before my bday!) so im super excited and nervous. my baby shower is scheduled for feb.8th. so i hope he can still in until then!
