09-2-2009 - 37wk doc visit 2nd visit

My mood while writing this blog: playing the wait game

as of today i am 38wks. whooooo only 2 weeks left. well i went to the doc friday and i have gained 1lb. when i went tuesday i lost 1lb. but anyways. i was there and only 3ppl were ahead of me. so i thought yessssssss i'll be in and out. =/ boy was i wrong!!! turns out the doc had left to deliver her 2nd baby for the day and was backed up. so i got there about 3 and got out close to 7. urine, blood pressure, weight = a-ok. so FINALLY i get in a room about 6:30 and she checks me only to tell me im STILL 1cm dilated! ekkkkk no way. what a dissapointment considering i was in there forever! so i go back tomorrow bc im going 2x a week now. how laaaaaaaame.

saturday was a kinda slow day. i had to get things ready for my baby shower and i even did some walking at the galleria where i thought my vagina was just gonna fall off. i was sooo tired but for some reason i wanted ice cream? so on the way home i made my bf stop and get me some marble slab. soooo delish. =) i went to bed with ease after that.

and sunday was my baby shower! it was so much fun. i got the play pen and the bouncer. i now have everything. i got lots of clothes that are in bigger sizes too so i have a variety. i got lots of blankets and a bunch of little things. i also got a night and day bottle warmer. if any you have tried it did you like it? i also got a humidifier but im going to return it bc a co worker said the filter grows mold on it? i was like how gross! so after getting home i set up his bouncer which was super easy. then i set up his play pen and the bassinet portion as well. i love the little changing station on it. you push a button and it folds up. i love it. i set up the bassinet portion with his boppy and a blanket. im so excited!

ive also been having pains everywhere! i want him out. my hips hurt and my body is aching! his time......is up.
