Hey girls...i hope you all had a great new years!!!!! mine blew...i was really excited to be able to spend it with my boyfriend and he said we would...but he ended up spending it drinking with his friends. I was so disappointed at 11:45 i just went to bed and eventually started crying. You know how they say the start of your new year is a predictor for how the rest of your new year is going to go??? i really hope not, because i spent this one crying and mad....oie!!! why are boys sooooo oblivious?

Sorry to hear about your new year, I know that this is an older blog, but I just noticed it. I spent New Years with my hubby, but fighting and eventually crying as well. He wanted to do the same old thing that we always do and hang out with friends, drinking and smoking. That is how we spent our Christmas (or at least he did and I watched and cried). So, you are not alone and I don't know if this is your boyfriends first, but it is my hubby's and we have been together for 5 years so this is all new to him that I feel lousy and want to lounge around. He sometimes just thinks I am being a "party pooper" :) Anyway, he usually feels really bad after and makes up for it, so after those two experiences (Christmas and New Years) I am hopeful that this year will be great because he learned that having a couple drinks is not worth ruining a whole night and things have to change now that he is going to be a daddy. We got a babysitter and I went with my husband. BIG mistake. I was bored and annoyed with the partying going on around me- but honestly I think I was more jealous than anything. I wish I would have stayed home with my daughter! This sober-all-the-time thing is necessary, but really shitty if you ask me. Your new year will be great. My life seems to make a tradition of disappointing New Year's Eves and I have definitely had some great years.

well i am glad i am not the only one!! i had the same exact situation only mine didn't get home til almost 4am!!! i was pissed!!!
