24-2-2009 - Sick of being sick!!!!!

I hate to be a total complainer...but i am so unbelieveably sick of being sick!!! it seems like everytime i get better, the next day, i am sick again...i've had like 3 weeks were i haven't been sick, and it always comes with a nasty cough and i HATE coughing...especially when you are already nauseated..coughing while needing to puke just speeds up the process :(...i can't swallow pills and i've tried a bunch of the liquid medicine we can take (mostly robotussin DM sp?) and it doesn't help with my cough at all..i've gotten alcohol free cough drops and wooo surprise surprise those don't help either..and now i'm getting a headache from coughing

someone plllllllllllease help me :*(

i can't really help i haven't been sick really (knock on wood) but i can imagine it sucks!!! but one thing is i can't swallow pills either... i start to gag.. but sorry to hear that!

I know my second month I was sick the entire time and it was the pits. I was told to buy Emetrol for my nausea. It's over the counter and it helped some what.

sorry you are feeling this way! hope you get to feeling better! are you taking prenatal vitamins? those used to make me sick so my doctor suggested taking flinstone's vitamins because all you really need is the folic acid anyway.
