23-5-2009 - 35 week update

My mood while writing this blog: 35 weeks and 35 days to go!!

i am sooo excited to have made it this far, and its getting more and more real everyday that i will be greeted with my little man's face in just a few weeks!

this pregnancy has been really easy except for the hellish weeks i had of morning sickness, which went away at 15 weeks, so i'm pretty lucky.

i'm to the point where little aiden doesn't feel so little anymore, because my ribs are constantly on fire, and my pelvic bones feel as if they are being crushed! but anything for him, i also have 3 tiny little bitty stretch marks, and have used lotion since the day i found out i was pregnant, so here is to show you that lotion is not always such a big help, i'm sure they would be worse if i hadn't used lotion, but the stretchies came if i liked it or not. but all is well cause they are really light and very small!

i'm ready for these next couple of weeks to fly by, because i'm feeling so anxious to meet my son, and its driving me nuts!

but i'm all for letting him cook for a couple more weeks!

my total weight gain is about 18 pounds, but i'm right on track of where i need to be, which is amazing to me, cause i don't feel like i've gained that much or that little lol.

i hope all is well with you other mommies that are so close to seeing their little ones!

Congratulations for making it this far! I am so glad that I am at 35 weeks as well. I feel so huge. The babies move all the time and it is really hard since there are two. That is good you only gained 18 pounds. During my first pregnancy I only gained 14 pounds, but those numbers did not work out with this pregnancy. I have gained 50 pounds already. Well, hope everything keeps going well for you and me!

Great to hear!! I too am impressed with my weight gain. I have only gained 20.4 lbs so far. When does DH come home???

Im glad to hear that you are still doing well and are happy being pregnant. :D I dont know about you, but I get tired of all these girls complaining about their pergnancies and how miserable they are. haha. Your in the final few weeks and maybe you will luck out like I did and Aidan will decide to come a bit early! Take care!
