| 14-7-2009 - bleeding pp/ baby with acid reflux/1 month old | My mood while writing this blog:crazy excited |
hey there ladies i hope you are all doing well, its been a while since i've posted anything other than pictures so i thought i would catch up with all of you.
well to start things off, while i was still at the hospital i had the depo shot (birth control) because my husband would be coming home too soon to have the mirena done because you have to have that done at 6 weeks or more pp and you have to be bleeding to have it put in, so i got the shot because me and DH want to wait a long while before or next one, if we even decide to have another because aiden is a handful and as most military wives know, its hard having your DH gone while you have a little one at any age. so that brings me to my next point, i have been bleeding since i had aiden, with a stop for maybe a few hours, well two days ago i started cramping and having really bad back pain, could have sworn i was in labor again lol just kidding, who could forget that lol. anywho, i'm bleeding really heavy and have some clots(sorry if its TMI) so i called my doctor and she said it was possibly my period but i would bleed for a while so its hard to tell, I HATE MY DOCTOR! she went over NOTHING with me, even while i was pregnant. DUMB B!! (sorry had to vent about her), but i'm hoping it my period, because i'm tired of wearing pads, and i'm ready to stop bleeding and then when my period comes next time, NO MORE PADS!!!
on to my next subject, this last month has been alright, just getting to know my little man, and what the cries resemble, and what not, well at about 2 weeks old, he was projectile vomiting, which i heard was a bad thing, and he also screamed his head off and wouldn't stop crying, i thought it was just gas, so i started supplementing some formula in with the breastfeeding, and it seemed to get better for a day or two, boy was i WRONG!! i eventually called and made him a pedi. appt and had a talk with her, and she said he has acid reflux so i would have to hold him upright for 20-30 minutes after every feeding otherwise he would spew again, she said that this is the reason for him screaming and crying so much also, oh and he throws himself back alot too. we started tummy time a little late, but the little booger either screams while he is laying there or he falls asleep, i don't think i'm too worried about it because he has great head control already for just being a month old, and as cheyenne's mommy reminded me, our parents rarely(if ever) did the things we do now with our little ones and we are perfectly fine.
Aiden will be a month old this friday, and i'm loving my little boy more than anything on this world, i would give my life for him. and we are both excited because his daddy is flyin out of iraq in 6 days, to meet aiden for the first time, although he's only gonna be here for 15 days, i wouldn't trade it for anything, because after he goes back we only have 4 months until he is home FOR GOOD! well atleast until next deployment!
again i hope all you ladies are doing well, talk to you soon!
